From the choices given I would have to go with Melvin. But to be honest, of all the keyboard players Jerry played with I'm not that familiar with either of them.

Melvin. I just love his swirling organ on the ballads, for example Senor and particularly That Lucky Old Sun.

Melvin. Not particularly close either.

I don't find Ozzie's solos as annoying as some do, but they certainly haven't aged well. That said, it seems like he takes a long solo break in every. single. song. in 1980 and after a while it gets a little tired.
On the other hand Melvin sure has his share of cheesiness but for the most part he seems to use it to support Garcia's playing or else to spur him on; Ozzie however, seems like less of a real "collaborator" to me.

Perhaps it goes without saying but I'd take Merle or Howard Wales over these guys in a heartbeat.
